What we do
Everyday Able helps you go from “I need equipment” to a local business you can call, or a choice you understand. Our supplier directory lists 7,813 medical equipment locations across the United States that are listed with Medicare for wheelchairs, mobility scooters or walkers. Our equipment pages and guides explain the basics in plain language, with sources, and tell you what to ask.
We write for the person using the equipment, and for the family members and friends who help. People need equipment for all kinds of reasons: for a few weeks after an injury, for good, at home or on a trip.
What we don't do
- We don't diagnose, prescribe equipment or decide what insurance will pay for. That's a conversation with your clinician and your plan.
- We don't sell equipment, take orders or handle payments.
- We don't claim a supplier has something in stock, rents or repairs unless the business has confirmed it.
- We don't publish ratings, reviews or “best” lists, and we don't test products.
How the site is paid for
Today it isn't: there are no ads, affiliate links or paid placements. If that changes, every paid link or placement will be labeled, and payment will never decide what we call suitable. See our affiliate disclosure.
